Florida Springs 2026 Shivering Siren Event
Date: February 26 - February 28, 2026
Location: Florida Springs, Ocala, Florida

Join Shivering Siren Studios in the beautiful Florida Springs for photoshoots and content creation opportunities. The first optional day will be collaborative content creation with fellow mers in two different springs. The next days will be photoshoot days and others that have signed up for the photoshoots are welcome to come and hang out with those getting their photos done by Shivering Siren Studios.

Photoshoots in a darker, deeper, and grassier spring. Lots of rocks and lily pads
Saturday, February 28, 2026

Photoshoots in a sandier, brighter spring that is known for lots of fish schools and manatees

Those that sign-up and pay for their photoshoot spot will be given access to the full schedule, locations, and a suggested alternative schedule. You will also have the opportunity to be in touch with others mers going on the trip to make travel plans with them.
What If It Rains or Storms?
If it rains *without lightening* land and underwater photoshoots will still be on.

If it rains *with lightening* underwater photoshoots will be cancelled and refunded or transferred to another day during the Springs Event if possible.
Are there alligators?
Yes BUT they are small and do not come out from the hours of 8am-5pm (according to a park ranger). I have talked to many Florida Springs mermaids and they do have not seen one in the springs in their entire time of swimming there.
I forgot my [something mermaid specific]! What do I do?!
Ask friends that are going to the event if they have extras you can borrow. If not, Sophia always carries extra of almost everything mermaid related.​
